As communicated previously, effective January 2, 2008 at 8:00 AM Eastern Time, the administration of BD benefits will be transferred to a new record keeper. To allow time for the transfer of benefits information, a blackout period is required which extends from December 31, 2007, 5:00 PM Eastern Time to January 2, 2008, 8:00 AM Eastern Time. On January 2, 2008 at 8:00 AM Eastern Time, by logging onto a new web site at www.bd.com/benefits you will again be able to complete transactions and obtain information online. Also at that time, you may again speak to a Customer Service Representative by calling 1-800-234-9855.
